“The French Barbarian’s game was good craic and by this time the team were starting to perform a lot better”

A scrappy game from the French side with their try scores being achieved by sneaking up on the wing. A much better game from the Titans, the team were starting to have more cohesion as a group and a greater awareness of each other on the pitch. However, the French won this game, placing our hopes and dreams of winning the tournament on the line.

As one player said “I don’t feel cheated by not winning against the French,  again, typical of the team we took it in such a positive light, we kinda came off, not beating ourselves up but saying very quietly, “we should have won that, what did we do wrong”.

After a stirring pep talk from our coach we entered into our third match which would keep us in or knock us out of the competition.
