To start the season, we headed off to Odyssey Bowl in Belfast for some 10-pin bowling.  With our groovy shoes on and the competitive spirit flowing, the games began (helped along with some beers and candy floss!!).  There were spot prizes for strikes and spares as well as booby prizes for bowling a “gutterball”.  The craic, as they say, was mighty.  Newcomer, Johannes, was the winner with a score of 110 and won a bottle of wine for his efforts.  At the other end of the scale, coach Noel came last and won something appropriate for his performance – a whoopee cushion!!

 After bowling, we headed to Union Street for Tina’s quiz and a few more beers.  The Titans fared well with 3 out of the 4 finalists being from the Club. Jonny B was one of the eventual winners and his banter with Tina Leggs Tantrum (who always got the last word) provided even more laughs!

 A great night out and pre-season bonding session and the first of many still to come!!
